Was there supposed to be a season 6 of Z Nation? ›

It was back in 2018 that Syfy pulled the plug on The Asylum-produced zombie series “Z Nation,” ending the show after five seasons.

The End of Everything is the thirteenth and final episode of Season 5 of Z Nation and the sixty-eighth episode of the series overall as well as its last episode.

In the finale of season 1, Murphy bit Cassandra in order to save her life.

Jacob captures some of the Westward-bound survivours group including Murphy. In order to save Murphy's life Garnett takes a bullet for him and turns zombie. It gives the others time to escape.

(SYFY channel) Old Lucy (series regular) dies in her father's arms at the age of 100. Because of her genetics.. (she is half human and half Zombie) she ages faster than the other humans as she uses her talents to save her companions from becoming Zombies.

“You guys are our family so we wanted to tell you face to face in person that we were not renewed for Season 6,” Latt told fans, while surrounded by the show's cast, writers, producers and crew. “We're stopping at Season 5. We're very sad, but we're also really grateful with the opportunities that we had on the show.”

There, Doc is reunited with 10K, who's all messed up due to his lack of the original vaccine that keeps him from falling under Murphy's control. Doc and 10K manage to escape after zombies invade the loony bin and are reunited with Roberta, Sun Mei, Addy and Hector.

The gang comes together in a flashback, to protect the town against a new, dangerous enemy, The Man. New allies form, as they battle zombies like never before. In the season 3 premiere, Warren and gang are taken prisoner, while Murphy escapes the sub with his newly formed group of blends.

Murphy is a bit of a hero for bringing them his blood because it turns out the vaccine worked and everyone in Zona is free of the zombie virus. The real world, though, has fallen to pieces entirely. Doc and 10K reunite in the woods, and head back to Red and 10K's tree-tent.
