What is dirty UNO? ›

They called it "dirty Uno" It's similar to the "Crazy Uno" posted here with a couple differences. -When a Zero is played of any color, you pass your entire hand to the person in the direction of play (If it's moving clockwise, you pass left, Counter-clockwise, Right)

Seven-O: Every time a "7" is played, whoever played it must swap hands with another player of their choice before ending their turn. Every time a "0" is played, all players pass their hands to the next player in the current direction of play, after which play continues normally.

Couples can add special rules that provoke discussion and reinforce the relationship. Perhaps if someone plays a 3, they have to say something they love about the other. Or if they play a reverse, they have to share a random memory of the relationship.

In 1971 the game was called UNO® simply because its inventors (Merle Robbins and his son Ray Robbins) thought this Spanish word sounded nice. That's it! Merle Robbins was a barber from Cincinnati, Ohio.

The "69" rule: You can match 6's with 9's and 9's with 6's as long as they're the same color. Color Crazy: If half the table (round down, minimum 3) participates in a 6/9 match-up, everyone can dump as many cards as they want from their hands that are the same color as the 6's & 9's.

Adult fans of UNO card games will love this daring take on the classic game. It plays like regular UNO matching color and number, but if a Dare Card is played, the player must decide if they are willing to risk doing the dare versus the penalty of drawing cards.

+2 and +4 cards can be stacked. +2 can only be stacked on +2. Can only play a +2 on a +2 if holding a +2 and +4. A player that can't add to the stack must draw the total.

You cannot stack cards. When a +4 is played the next player must draw 4 cards and lose their turn. You always have the option to challenge a Wild Draw 4 if you suspect that the card has been played on you illegally (i.e. the player has a matching color card).

You must say UNO before you put your second-to-last card in the draw pile. If you don't, and another player calls you out for not saying UNO, you must draw four cards. If you catch yourself and say UNO after putting down your other card but before the other players realize, you do not have to draw any cards.

Knock another player's cards out of their hand along with your own. As you wave your arms around, bump into another player to make them drop their cards. As you do this, drop your cards nearby. This way, your cards get mixed up and you can switch some of their cards for your own.

An UNO Reverse card is a comeback that's similar to “no u.” In pop culture, pulling out an UNO Reverse card acts as an ultimate comeback or karmic change of events. When someone says or does something, you can show them an UNO Reverse card or say it out loud to turn the tables on the other person.

Calling UNO

Players call “UNO” by saying the word aloud to signal they have one card remaining. You must say UNO before you put your second-to-last card in the draw pile. If you don't, and another player calls you out for not saying UNO, you must draw four cards.

And on the dark side, there are different action cards with stiffer penalties. Instead of a Draw One card, the dark side has a Draw Five card. Instead of a Skip Card, the dark side has a Skip Everyone card. You have to continue playing with the dark side until another Flip card is played.
