ALL TEAMS: ABSENCES

As summer starts to wind down and kids are getting back into school, we just wanted to give you some reminders as we head into season! We need your help to make our season successful!!

1. Please make practice attendance a priority. This is a team sport and we can only work on our routine when everyone is present. Full team practices are vital to our success! Even if athletes are not feeling 100%, their attendance is still expected. Communicate with coaches and we can adjust their participation based on the situation- but being there is important.

2. Absent Request Forms- As school begins, absences should only be for school graded events. Please look ahead in your calendars for any potential conflicts and get those requests in for us!

3. No absences are allowed within 2 weeks of any events. Missing during this time will likely result in being an alternate for that event. This is NOT what we want to do, but we must ensure the team is prepared.

4. Communication is KEY! Coaches need to be aware of what is going on with your athletes, especially when it comes to missing, not feeling well or injuries. We have to know about these BEFORE your athletes comes for practice- the sooner the better! Get those request forms in and use the channels of email or texting all coaches for anything else.

ALL STAR ATHLETES: INSPIRE APPLICATIONS

Below is the application if you are interested in being a volunteer for Inspire; our team for athletes with special abilities. This will require being a buddy to one of our athletes, attending weekly practices, attending their competitions and learning an additional routine. This is eligible for any All Star athlete 12 and up, however Dynamite athletes are ineligible due to conflicting practice times.

Applications are due by AUGUST 22ND to be considered! Please turn into the front office to be placed in Alison Howard’s box or give to Alison directly.

PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: MANDATORY USASF ACCOUNT

All members in these classifications must have a renewed USASF (US All Star Federation) account to compete at events.

THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST 26TH! Fines will incur if it is not complete by this deadline!

Returning Members that have a USASF profile:

Go to usasf.net, log in and renew your membership for the 2024-2025 season. This comes with a fee of $49.

If you have any issues, please contact support@usasf.net

New Members or those without a USASF profile:

-Go to usasf.net and create an account. You will need to pay the registration fee of $49.

-Be sure you enter all athlete information correctly as it is difficult to get adjusted once it is created.

-You will need a copy of your athlete’s birth certificate in order to become eligible. You can scan and upload that image or take a clear photo to upload.

-At the end of the process, you should be prompted to add a club/gym to your profile. Simply search Excite and we should pop right up. This will then get sent to the gym for us to approve.

-If you have any issues, please contact support@usasf.net. There is also a FAQ page if you are needing more instructions: https://www.usasf.net/athletes-faq

High School Seniors:
